THE SARATOGA AREA'S MOST LOVED RESTAURANT!

Easily understandable why this place is so busy... when you first walk in - the atmosphere is just so warm and cozy. The service was very good - our waitress was knowledgeable regarding GF options. The menu is fairly extensive and lots of options. The food arrived quickly and was well prepared. They also have a well equipped bar. I would highly recommend the Ripe Tomato for a special night out!

Great dinner after the races at Saratoga. Salmon cakes w linguine was my wife choice, she raved about them. I had the Haddock Almondine which was unique. Also excellent. Drinks were excellent and service was prompt, competent and friendly. Will stop again when in the area.

We had a delicious dinner last night at the Ripe Tomato. We received excellent service from Dena (Hostess) and Greta (Waitress). They were very responsive and always smiling and happy to work with us.

Great Find - there’s a reason it’s been in business for almost 100 years. Atmosphere, service, and food were all excellent. I had Chicken Piccata - it was a large portion and deliciously lemony. my son had a cheese burger and said it was great. We are always in search of the perfect burger and most disappoint - this one did not. My husband has a Caesar salad with salmon - also excellent. Highly recommend. Call ahead and get a reservation though, it’s busy.

The best waitress, service and food. We had a group of 22 and Dena was fabulous. Organized and attentive. She was a well oiled machine. A great experience with a top notch waitress! the Saratoga dining scene.

The 6 of us all enjoyed our dinners at this family owned restaurant. Sometimes, this place is listed as being in Ballston Spa (e.g., on their webite) & sometimes in Malta. They have their own parking lot, which is a plus. ZThe zRipe Tomato has separate lunch & dinner menus. If you check out the prices on their dinner menu, they are moderately priced, compared to many other restaurants. I took off half a star though, as I wasn't a fan of their Italian bread. While it was crusty, the center was hard - like it might have been reheated.
